I don't go much on dating sites. It's tricky enough as it is. At least in the real world you have a chance to figure out when they're lying, and you're not shocked to find, when you meet them, that they look nothing like their picture. In my opinion, dating sites magnify the potential for disappointment.

She met her husband on a dating site. For several years she was interacting online until she met the right one. She claims that he is a "perfect match." I don't really purchase memberships, but I do enjoy interacting on the free membership sites.

I can't bring myself to pay for any right now. I kinda like just staying single. I do have a singlesnet.net account that I like. Occasionally I will drop in a see what some of the profiles look like. I have friends who spend hours searching for the perfect person online. I've just had too many upsets in my life.
