Sometimes it would be good, if there was a bit more true romantic devotion in the world.  It might be a better place.  
My parents loved each other.  They had 11 children, and then when I was 19, my mother died.  Dad just fell apart, his world was gone; it took him about 2 years to recover somewhat, but he will never be the same.  That's what I mean by devotion. They were together 1958 to 1980.  22years.  Would have been forever if she were still around.
