Here's a tricky question...

If the person you were engaged to marry had an accident and became a paraplegic, would you go through with the marriage, or back out of it?

Honestly' that would depend on the age.
If I were 95 and she was 25....... Grin

But seriously. What would you do?

It would really depend on the person. If they are strong and still valued themselves and life could be very different than someone who has just given up...

I sort of agree with you, however, this question seems based on the premise that you are in love with this person.  Surely, if this is something you value, you wouldn't be in love with someone so weak, would you?

It would be very hard going on with that person, not being able to do any physical activities anymore. skiing, roller blading etc. I don't know what i would do

I would obviously be in love with the person, if I had agreed to marry him, and my love runs very deep and strong once it gets to that point.  This is something that I've thought about before because I love motorcycles and many of my ex's were enthusiasts.  I had decided before and I still hold to it...I believe, if he would still have me, I would be there for him at all times and would definitely marry him.  I've never abandoned anyone I truly loved.

Im sorry guys, but i think that would change the whole anticipated future of the relationship. I would not go through with it - i would not necessarily abandon the woman but im sure the marriage thing will be out... cry
